Es ist eine Kombination, auf die man erst mal kommen muss: Auf ihrer gemeinsamen Aufnahme „Time Travel“ verbinden die preisgekrönte Saxofonistin Asya Fateyeva und die lautten compagney Berlin Songs von Henry Purcell und den Beatles. Diese Zeitreise zwischen dem 17. und dem 20. Jahrhundert gelingt überraschend gut und zeigt wieder einmal, dass Musik keine Grenzen kennt – weder zwischen Genres noch zwischen den Epochen. Wenn sie gut ist – und so gespielt wird – ist sie eben einfach zeitlos.
